Specific knowledge and skills have been developed in meeting the following ISBL AI, Digital and Data standards: • [1.42] Understands the impact and opportunity of change, innovation and growth. • [1.46] Understands the role of technology in supporting both teaching and learning and effective operations. • [7.14] Understands how to use school or trust systems to improve data quality, identify trends, and present meaningful reports for planning. • [7.22] Understands how AI can be used to combine datasets from multiple platforms and the potential to reduce duplication, highlight key insights, and support operational planning.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to understand the current landscape of AI in education and identify opportunities for its application across school business functions, supported by real-world case studies. They will be able to evaluate the benefits and risks of AI adoption, including ethical and operational considerations, and align its use with the ISBL AI, Digital and Data Standards. Participants will also gain the skills to develop and implement effective AI policies, engage stakeholders, and measure impact, enabling them to take practical, informed next steps for responsible AI adoption within their school or trust.
