Students will develop skills in thematic tafsir analysis, contextual interpretation of verses, identifying legal (fiqh) rulings, recognizing signs of faith and hypocrisy, understanding Qur’anic narratives of Bani Israel and Prophet Ibrahim, applying moral lessons to modern life, connecting verses to hadith and classical tafsir, and reflecting deeply (tadabbur) on divine attributes, worship, and divine law.
By course end, students will confidently explain Surah Al-Baqarah’s core themes—Tawheed, faith, hypocrisy, divine law, and mercy—and accurately interpret its key verses in context. They will apply its rulings on worship, transactions, and ethics to real life, reflect on its spiritual lessons with depth, distinguish believer traits from hypocrites, and strengthen their connection to the Qur’an through informed recitation and heartfelt tadabbur.
