By the end of the course, students will be able to: - Explain why Sahih al-Bukhari holds the highest status among hadith books. - Navigate its chapter structure and interpret Bukhari’s subtle fiqh messages. - Apply authentic hadiths to worship (salah, sawm, zakah), social dealings, and character. - Distinguish between descriptive reports (akhbar) and prescriptive rulings (ahkam). - Use reliable translations/editions (e.g., Darussalam, USC-MSA) with confidence. - Appreciate the Prophet’s ﷺ life as a living commentary on the Qur’an. - Begin independent study of other Sahih collections (e.g., Muslim) with proper tools.
