Participants developed skills in selecting and facilitating a range of core thinking routines , designing questions that provoke deeper reasoning, documenting and making student thinking visible through purposeful discourse , and adapting routines to suit different age groups, subjects, and learning objectives.
By the end of the course, participants were able to confidently integrate Visible Thinking Routines into lesson planning and delivery, use routines as formative assessment tools to gauge student understanding in real time, and cultivate a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, metacognition, and deeper engagement with content.
