Design and deliver engaging wellbeing sessions tailored to different age groups in school and community settings, using evidence-based frameworks. Confidently teach core concepts of mental health, emotional literacy, and mindfulness in ways that are age-appropriate, inclusive, and trauma-informed. Model and facilitate self-regulation techniques, such as breath work, grounding exercises, and reflective practices that promote resilience and emotional balance in children. Create a safe and supportive learning environment where children feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. Recognise signs of emotional distress in children and understand appropriate boundaries and referral pathways for safeguarding and support. Adapt content and delivery styles to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with neurodiverse profiles or different cultural backgrounds. Foster meaningful connections with children and their communities through compassionate communication, empathy, and active listening. Reflect on their own wellbeing practices and apply mindfulness and self-care strategies to maintain personal balance as facilitators.
