On competion, participants will: Demonstrate the ability to assess an emergency scene and ensure safety for themselves and others. Perform a primary assessment of a casualty using recognised first aid principles (e.g., DRABC). Apply effective CPR techniques on adults, children, and infants. Provide immediate care for burns and scalds. Recognize the signs and symptoms of shock and provide appropriate first aid. Respond effectively to common medical emergencies such as asthma attacks, seizures, allergic reactions, and diabetic conditions. Communicate clearly and effectively during emergencies, including contacting emergency services. Apply basic hygiene and infection control measures while administering first aid. Demonstrate confidence and competence in responding to emergency situations.
