Participants will develop the ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED). They will learn how to manage choking incidents, control bleeding, treat wounds, and respond to unconscious individuals using the recovery position. In addition, they will gain practical skills to handle common injuries such as burns, fractures, and shock.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to assess emergency situations quickly and safely, provide immediate and appropriate first aid, and perform effective CPR including the correct use of an AED. They will be able to apply the correct techniques for a range of common medical emergencies and demonstrate increased confidence in responding to real-life emergency scenarios.
